Purpose

Using the archiving object BC_SBOOK as example, this read program shows how a fast access to one specific object requested by the user (in this case a flight booking) is realized.

The system first looks for the requested flight booking in the database and if not there, in the Archive. The archive access is index-base (using an infostructure of the Archive Information System).
