Purpose

Delete program for archiving document data of a Billing Engine Application.

Selection

It is possible to start the delete program in both the test run and productive run. In the test run, no data is deleted from the database.

Activities

The archived data of the corresponding archiving run and other immediately dependent data is deleted from the database.

The delete program is scheduled using Archive Administration. Select the object concerned BEA_aaaa (aaaa stands for the Billing Engine Application, for example CRMB for CRM Billing).

Further functions of document data archiving of a Billing Engine Application:

• Preprocessing program: select billing documents for archiving

• Write program: Write billing documents to the archive file

• Postprocessing program: Delete rejected, non-billed billing due list items
