BTFR_CHANGE_PACKAGE - OTR: Reassign Package

Purpose

The package assignment of OTR texts and their applications is not consistent. This can happen if, for example, an exception class is assigned to a different package. The OTR texts remain assigned to the original package of the exception class.

The report must be run for the package that the OTR texts are assigned to. The selection can be restricted to an application (for example, CPUB).

From the list you can change the package assignment of the OTR texts.

You can only assign OTR texts to a different package if the original systems of the original and target packages are the same. See also, documentation of function module BTFR_CHANGE_PACKAGE. This check can be deactivated with parameter P_IGNORE. This should only be done after careful analysis of the data to be copied.

You can select an entry for which you want to change the package assignment of the OTR text (function, "Change Package Assignment of the OTR Text" (F9), or you can change the package assignment for all texts at once (function, "Change Package Assignment for All OTR Texts" (CTRL + F1).
