CACS_OAPSIEXEC - Execute Process Step in Worklist for Object Assignment

Purpose

This program is used to execute process steps in an assignment process.

Integration

Processing is triggered by the process controller.

Prerequisites

A workflow must not have been started for the assignment process for which the step is to be executed. Otherwise processing is rejected. This is necessary to avoid potential conflicts with workflow-driven processing.

The process step that is to be scheduled for processing must be valid for execution with the current program. Process steps that have a workflow template for subsequent processing or that check the dialog of a worklist are not permitted.

Processing can either be online or as a background job. If you choose background processing, you must specify the name of a background job and the starting time.
