CACS_OAUIVAR - Creation of Selection Variants for User Interfaces

Purpose

You use this program to create selection variants for generated user interfaces in Framework for Object Assignment (FOA).

Integration

User interfaces for use in the worklists of Framework for Object Assignment are generated with program CACS_OAUIGEN. You use the current program to generate the selection variants that you intend to use to configure the definition for worklist. Selection variants that were maintained in the definition for worklist affect the input behavior of the user interface for managing worklists.

Prerequisites

You can only generate a selection variant if you have already generated an interface for the selected combination of assignment type, structure, usage type and field selection (usage method).

The selection screen is the same as that of the generation program CACS_OAUIGEN.

Activities

1. In the initial screen, enter your selection criteria and execute the program. In the next screen the input fields of the generated interface are displayed.
2. Make your entries for fixed values and/or default values.
3. Choose Save to branch to the standard screen for variant maintenance.
4. Specify the name and description.
5. Choose the appropriate attributes of the selection options to suit your requirements. Note that the only attributes that are currently available in the worklist interface Required Entry and Protect Field.
