CDS_VIEW_CACHE_DATA_FILL - Report to Reactivate and fill CDS View Cache

Purpose

This report makes the SAP HANA feature Result Cache preliminarily available for use in SAP S/4HANA. Later there may be a successor solution to make the feature available.

You use this report to fill the result caches. Result caches provide the option of evaluating a view for a predefined time and reuse this cached data when the view is accessed by a query.

Integration

Use this report, if you want to create or change HANA result cache definitions and fill them immediately.

If you just want to create or change the HANA result cache definitions, use the report CDS_VIEW_CACHE_REACTIVATION instead.

Prerequisites

You can execute this report only if you have authorization for executing transaction REACTIVATE_CDS_CACHE.

The screen displays the list of objects for which the HANA result caches where either created, changed and/or filled.
