Purpose

You can use this report to recalculate the statuses relevant to consent records, i.e. the lifecycle status and the consent status. These are both based on other attributes of a consent record (e.g. valid-from and -to date) and are time-dependent. To always display the most recent statuses of a consent record when using the Search and Display Consent Records report (transaction CM_DISPLAY_CONSENT), you should run this report on a regular basis.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

The report offers several selection criteria to further define the recalculation process. See section below for more information.

Selection

In the Selection Criteriasection, use the Consent UUIDoption to specify one or more consent records the statuses should be recalculated for. Use the All Consent Records option to recalculate the statuses for all consent records in the database. Use the Reprocess option to reprocess consent records for which a recalculation ended with errors that are gathered in one or more application logs.

In the Parallelization section, you have the following options:

  • Package Size per Work Process
Use this parameter to control how many consent records are processed in one block by a parallel task.
  • Maximum Number of Work Processes used
Use this parameter to control how many work processes are used at maximum in parallel for the recalculation.
  • Logon/server group
Use this parameter to control the logon / server group on which the parallelization should take place.

In the Control section, you have the following options:

  • Save Application Log
If you select this option, the application log will be saved. If not, the log of a particular recalculation run and related log entries will only be temporarily available, i.e. directly after the import has been carried out. It is recommended to select this option, if you do not run the report in test mode. Note that the recalculation might be performed in parallel tasks. The logs from these parallel tasks are only available if the application log is saved.
  • Application Log Detail Level
Position your cursor on the input field and choose the value help (F4) to specify the log level. The following levels are available:
  • Level 1: General info is logged.

  • Level 2: In addition to level 1, log entries are created for each erroneous consent record.

  • Level 3: In addition to levels 1 and 2, log entries are created for each erroneous field of an erroneous consent record.

  • Level 4: In addition to levels 1, 2 and 3, also for recalculations that do not result in any changes log entries are created.

  • Other (not used)

  • Test Run
If you select this option, the recalculation will be carried out in test mode. The statuses of consent records are analyzed. Log entries are shown according to the specified log settings. No consent records will be changed in the consent administration system.
Choose Execute to start the import process.

Standard Variants

Output

The system displays the log entries according to the specified log settings.

If the control option Save Application Logwas selected, logs can be viewed later on using transaction Analyze Application Log (SLG1).

Activities

Example

A consent record is valid until January 1, 2018. On October 23, 2017 this consent record’s lifecycle status will change to expiring (according to the expiring date). On January 2, 2018 the record will be in status expired or blocked. These status changes are made according to time-dependent attributes of a consent record and are not automatically reflected in the overall Lifecycle Status of the record.
