Title

Landscape Transformation: Execution of Downtime Analysis for Company Code Deletion

Purpose

You use this report to start the analysis for a particular PCL Package ID. This report simulates the company code deletion process.

The IMG activity Execute Analysis triggers this report in the remote system to analyze the tables specified in the CNVA_CCD_ANA_REStable. This report picks up the table name and field name combinations from the CNVA_CCD_ANA_REStable and forwards the combinations to the report LT: Company Code Deletion Analysis for Database Tables for further analysis.

Integration

This report is integrated with the IMG activity Execute Analysis which automatically triggers this report in the remote system.

Prerequisites

You have selected the company codes in the IMG activity Maintain Company Codes.The maintained company codes are automatically transferred to the table CNVA_CCD_ANA_OBJwith the OBJECTTYPEfield having the value BUKRS.

Features

When you execute the IMG activity Execute Analysis, a dialog box appears specifying the number of free background jobs available and where you can enter the number of free background jobs to be used. By default, the tool suggests four background jobs. If fewer than four background jobs are free, then the tool suggests a number that is one less than the available background jobs.

After you specify the number of background jobs to be used, the tool schedules one background job for each of the table name and field name combinations for analysis by the report LT: Company Code Deletion Analysis for Database Tables.

One background job is reserved as a scheduler to monitor and schedule background jobs.

Selection

You can enter the number of free background jobs to be used in the dialog box that appears when you execute the IMG activity Execute Analysis.

Standard Variants

None.

Output

The background jobs scheduled by this table are run successfully. Each background job scheduled by this report updates the table CNVA_CCD_ANA_RES, which stores the analysis results from the table.

Activities

The report is run in the remote system via the IMG activity Execute Analysis.
