Specify Tables for Customizing Comparison

Purpose

Short text

Specify Tables for Customizing Comparison

Purpose

In this activity, you specify the tables that are relevant for your Customizing comparison project.

In general, you execute this activity using the default settings (client-independent tables with delivery class C, E, S, G, and W), but you can also specify which tables to include using the following options:

Enter Table Names

If you only want to analyze certain tables, you can enter these in the Table Name field. You can specify delivery classes for the comparison.

Select Important Tables

If you select Select Impotant Tables radio button, the system selects the most important client-independent tables for a client transfer analysis.

Upload Tables from File

If you select Upload Tables from File radio button then you will get an option to enter the file path to upload the tables from the file. The file should be in the excel file with the first column filled with the table names list.

Client Dependency

For the above tables you can specify, whether you want to include client-dependent tables, client-independent tables, or both.

Table Pool Options

When you specify the tables for the comparison, the system adds them to the table pool. A comparison can only take place if there are tables in the table pool.

You can also remove tables from the table pool. Specify the relevant tables and select the Remove Tables from Table Pool checkbox. You then choose Execute to remove the tables from the table pool.

Note:

After you execute this activity, the system displays a list of the tables added to (or removed from) the table pool.

Note:

Some tables cannot be compared for the following reasons:

One of the table fields is of type String

One of the table fields is of type Floating Point

The table width is greater than 4096 characters
