Title
Purpose
In this activity, the system compares the Customizing tables.
We strongly recommend that you execute this activity as a background job.
If you do not enter a value in the Table Name field, the system compares all the tables from the table pool that can be compared. If you only want to compare certain tables, you can enter these tables in the Table Name field.
Maximum Number of Records
Sometimes, there are tables in the table pool that are too large for a comparison, and for which it does not make sense to include them in the Customizing comparison.
For each table, the system calculates the total number of records in each participating system. If this number exceeds the Maximum Number of Records (default value 50000), the system excludes the table from the comparison, but saves the table name and number of records.
You can analyze the large tables separately by entering the table name in this activity, and increasing the Maximum Number of Recordsvalue.
Status
Every table has a status. The system sets the status for each table during the comparison. The absence of an entry in the status field indicates that a table has not yet been compared.
