Description

This report copies one or more related packages from client 000 into a new package in the current client. The package numbers in the name range 9xxxx are reserved for SAP standard packages.

Parameters:

  • Client (only in expert mode)
  • Source package(s)
  • Target package (any number higher than 90000)
  • Package description

If relevant, the system finds packages that are related to the selected package in the table CNVPACKDP and includes them in the selection. If the new package number exists already, the system asks you whether you want to continue with the copy anyway - which means that the existing information is overwritten! Any old table content is deleted before it gets overwritten.

Requirements

The program must not run in client 000. You can restart the program any number of times. The release level of the packages must match the release level of the corresponding system.

Output

The CNV tables are filled with the new package data. Any errors are listed in the log.
