CNV_10030_LOAD_OBJECTS - Initial load of org. objects in active package

Description

This program copies the org. objects for the org. package from the delivery client to the current client and stores them under the active package number. When doing so, it checks the org. objects. Org. objects with errors (such as org. objects that refer to structures from higher releases) are flagged as "exclude". Single paths for which at leaste one intermediate step is flagged as "exclude" and multiple paths for which all alternative paths are flagged as "exclude" are also flagged recursively as "exclude".

Selection screen

On the selection screen, you define the delivery client by making the appropriate entry in field Client for selection.

If the indicator Delete tables is set, all existing records for the active package number are first deleted from the org. tables for the current client.

If the indicator Delete cross-package records is set, cross-package records (such as package parameters) are deleted as well.

If the indicator Delete existing logs is set, all existing logs for the active package number that were created during the activities of the org. package are deleted. The related status entries in the CWB monitor are initialized.

If the indicator Fill tables is set, the org. objects of the delivery client are copied to the current client.

If the indicator Consider TDeterminationObj. for cardinality is set, cardinality checks are planned only for paths with specified target determination objects if you maintain cross-path entries in table CNV_10020_CARD.

If the indicator for modifying relevant programs is set, the program adapts the programs that are stored in table CNV_10030_SWITCH to the new org. version by turning specific coding sections into comments or back into coding again (if this has not already been done in a previous step).
This has been changed in the meantime to the effect that it should no longer be necessary to turn coding into comments (or back into coding again) and the the table CNV_10030_SWITCH should consequently be empty.

For automatic determination, determination programs are generated in test mode when the determination paths are checked. To skip this generation (for performance reasons), delete the corresponding indicator.

If the parameter Re-create object list is set, the program updates the object lists of the programs that contain specific programs and/or function modules. Otherwise, these objects might not be found and turned into comments or back into coding again (if required).

If the indicator Execute in background is set, the programm is executed in the background with the current settings as specified on the selection screen.

Notes

• In activity Identify Settings for Org. Unit Determination, the entries for assignments of determination paths to fields to be converted (table CNV_10020_DTFLD) are determined not completely, but only for fields that are actually relevant for the conversion, and copied to the current client under the active package number.

• Entries for framework packages in table CNV_10020_TDTOBJ are handled as if these entries did not exist at all.
