CNV_20551_EXCLUDE_TABLES - Utility Program to Exclude tables with empty deletion criteria

Purpose

This program excludes tables that are assigned to a deletion criterion with no relevant values for deletion from the deletion procedure.

In the deletion monitor, the excluded tables are directly marked as Completedwith a warning message.

Integration

Prerequisites

• You have executed all the activities in phase Generation.

• You have executed all the activities in phase Preprocessing programs DURING system lock.

• The current active phase is Conversion.

Features

Selection

• If you want to simulate the complete run without any actual changes to the system, run this activity with the test parameter set to 'X' (which is also the default value). Otherwise, set the parameter value to ' ' (empty).

• When you choose Execute, you get an ALV grid with a list of the tables that are assigned to an empty deletion criterion.

• If you want to keep this list for reference purposes, you can download it to your local disk.

• To exclude all the tables in the list from the actual deletion procedure, choose the button labeled Executethat is displayed ontop of the ALV grid.

• A dialog box is displayed. To confirm your decision to exclude the tables, choose Yes. Otherwise choose No.

Standard Variants

Output

• An additional column is displayed in the list. It is labeled Excluded(or To be Excludedwhen the test mode is active). The indicator 'X' next to a table indicates that this table is excluded from the deletion procedure.

• In the deletion monitor, all the tables listed here are marked as Completedwith a warning message to indicate that these tables were excluded manually. In addition, the jobs that were scheduled for these tables are removed from the system as well.
