Purpose

This troubleshooting activity helps you to create and schedule a multiple jobs in parallel for any object type belongs to one of the activities Find Objects for Clean-Up (Level I) to Find Objects for Clean-Up (Level VI), ,,

Integration

Prerequisites

  • You know the value ranges in which the objects lie, or you know the database table and field name from where the ranges for the relevant object can be extracted.
  • The active phase is Preprocessing programs DURING system lock.

Features

Selection

  • If required, specify the threshold value for multiple jobs. (Multiple jobs are scheduled only if the total number of objects is greater than this value. The default value is 100,000.)
  • If required, specify the total number of parallel jobs you want to schedule for a given object type.
  • Specify the object type for which you want to schedule multiple jobs. You can use the F4 Help to choose and fill this value.
  • Field OBART will be filled automatically when you fill the Object using the F4 Help for field Object Type; this value is relevant only for object type J_OBJNR.
  • If you want to use a table to specify the value ranges for an object type, choose Use Table With Value Ranges and enter the corresponding table and field names.
  • If you want to specify the value ranges manually, choose Specify Value Ranges Manually and enter the corresponding values.
  • If you want to specify the NRIV object for a given Object Type, choose Specify NRIV Object and enter the corresponding NRIV object name.

Standard Variants

Output

Specified number of Parallel jobs will be created and scheduled at background for a given object type.
