Title

Comparison betwenn components of cluster RELID in CNV_INDX_STRUC table and INDX directory.

Purpose

The purpose of this program is to help maintain the knowledge about the components of cluster RELIDs.

Selection

The user has an option of either compare all RELIDs found in system (by leaving the "package" parameter empty) or only RELIDs relevant for single conversion package (by specifying the "package" paramter).

The user also must determine the way the INDX directory will be obtained. By default all components of directory of N first INDX table entries are taken into account, where N is defined by the user. User has also an option to read only one INDX table entry to obtain directory components or read all entries (which can be very time-consuming).

Standard Variants

Output

There are two output screens in this program:

The first output screen shows all found RELIDs, its version in system (if available), versions available in CNV_INDX_STRUC table (if any) and the version (chosen from available versions) which shell be used for comparison. It also shows if INDX directory could be obtained (if there are some INDX table entries for given RELID).

The second output screen shows detailed comparison between RELID's components in CNV_INDX_STRUC table and INDX directory. If there are some differencies, the corresponding fields will be marked with red color. If, additionally, there is some information from INDX directory, it can be used to automatically update CNV_INDX_STRUC table.

Activities

On the first output screen double-clicking any RELID will take the user to the second output screen (with detailed information about differences between components in CNV_INDX_STRUC table and INDX directory).

On the second output screen, the user has an option (if there are differences) to update CNV_INDX_STRUC table on the basis of INDX directory. If for any given component, which is defined in CNV_INDX_STRUC table, an underlying structure is missing - double-clicking the "Structure" field will trigger the routine trying to determine the proper structure.
