Title
CNV_CMIS_M_10_DOM_MAINTAIN
Purpose
This program has two primary purposes:
- assigning domains or domain and data element pairings to a rule
- defining rules.
Two subscreens entitled "Domains" and "Rules" greet the user. These are largely self-explanatory.
Domains screen.
As mentioned, most of the attriibutes and handling of this screen is largely self-explanatory. Nonetheless, the following points may be of interest:
- a sort function enables the user to sort by column. This is helpful when the user prefers to see the data listed according to the rules rather than the domains.
- it is not possible to assign a domain to a rule that has not yet been defined. If it is necessary to assign a domain to a not-existing rule then the rule should be created first from the "Rules" subscreen.
- a check will be made of domains that are entered in order to prevent a domain being assigned to more than one rule. A rule may be associated with more than one domain but domains may only be associated with one rule.
- only client independent domains are permitted. Checks of the "Client-specific entries" flag, valule-tables and fixed values determine whether any client dependency is found. If so, then the entered domain will be rejected. These checks are carried out by the RFC enabled function module CNV_CMIS_M_10_DOM_CLIENT_CHECK.
