Purpose

The project role concept in cProjects was changed for Release 4.00. The following steps are therefore carried out in this report:

• The system determines how each project role is staffed.

• The system generates a project role with a status and hierarchy entry for each staffing. This project role is at a lower level in the hierarchy and is not visible on the interface. The hierarchy entry of the project role is adjusted.

• The staffing is moved to the lower-level project role that was generated.

• The system enters default values in the new database fields for the project role, staffing, and resource assignment to the task, in advance.
