Purpose

The character limit for interface names has been increased from 60 to 255 characters.

Database tables that contain the interface data element in their key must be converted. The existing key fields are moved to the data area. A GUID is used as the key.

This report converts table SXMSARCITF into table SXMSARCITF2. This table contains the interfaces used in archiving. To verify whether this conversion was successful, call transaction SXMB_ADM and choose Define Interfaces for Archiving and Retention Periods.
