Purpose

For the SLO components, the DDIC Change Guide is designed to be the developer's knowledge resource within a correction process that involves tables, views, or index objects.

The transaction shall provide information on the effects and consequences of defined DDIC changes with regards to runtime, disk space, and data loss.

Information retrieval by a developer is logged and is a prerequisite for the approval of the change by the DDIC contact.
