Purpose

HCM packages are those created by SAP Landscape Transformation in order to realize an HCM-related transformation solution that involves the transfer or deletion of data (for example SAP ERP HCM System Merge).

For an HCM package, you can use this report to download the settings that control the transfer of data or the deletion of data

The settings are downloaded as CSV files. The system creates one file for each table that contains any settings that relate to the transfer or to deletion of data.

Selection

The report contains the following sections:

HCM Package

In the HCM package field, specify the relevant HCM package ID.

Download Settings from Control System/

If required, you can download setting from the control system.

Download Conversion Settings

You can download the relevant conversion settings for the package. To do this, select the Yes radio button, and specify the RFC connection to the sender system (for packages that involve the transfer of data) or to the execution system (for packages that involve the deletion of data).

Download Options

Choose one of the following options:

  • Full
Downloads a list of tables that contain settings that are potentially relevant to the transfer of data or for the deletion of data.
  • Partial
Download a reduced list of tables that contain settings that are potentially relevant for the transfer of data or for the deletion of data. In addition, the content of the tables is reduced. Only the settings for tables that are relevant for the transfer of data or for the deletion of data are included.
  • Importable Format
You can use certain activities (for example Specify Groups of Tables to be Transferred) to upload the settings to the system. You can use this option to download the settings for a package in a format that can be uploaded to the system. Note that this option only downloads the tables that are relevant for an upload.

In addition, you can specify a prefix or a suffix for the downloaded CSV files. For example, all downloaded files can start with the prefix "Project_1_".

Output

You can download the CSV files to a local directory.
