Purpose

In this activity, you create the initial list of business objects to be processed within the current transformation package.

Note: The list you create here constitutes the basis for the analysis. However you do not have to restrict the list of objects exactly to your final project scope. When you finalize the embedded specification in a later activity, you will be able to exclude objects from the project scope or to add further objects as required.

Integration

All objects you include in the embedded specification are considered during the subsequent analysis activities.

Prerequisites

Features

More information about the variant that is currently selected is displayed in the lower part of the screen.

You can run this activity more than once. If you start the activity again and an embedded specification from a previous run exists, you have the following options:

• You can edit the existing embedded specification.

• You can replace the existing embedded specification with a new one. For this new embedded specification, you have all the options described above.
