CNV_LTR2_ES_UTILS_DMOD_ADD_TAB - Add Tables to a Data Model
CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend Services CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend ServicesThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
With this report you can add a list of tables to a single data model.
Integration
The data model must be created in the SAP LT Business Object Dictionary (BOD) using the BO Editor. The data model can then be added to an embedded specification.
The tables specified on the selection screen of this report can be added either to the standard definition of the data model or as extensions to the data model (then the data model is contained in an embedded specification and a position GUID must be specified).
Prerequisites
A data model has been created in the BOD. Optionally, the data model has been added to an embedded specification.
Features
Selection
ES Position GUID
Specify the position GUID if the data model has been added to an embedded specification and if the tables
should be added as an extension (only specific for the embedded specification - the original data model in the BOD will not be modified).
If no position GUID is entered then the original data model will be modified.
Data Model GUID
Specify the GUID of the data model. If you have entered a position GUID then the GUID of the data model is not required because it is implicitly given by the position GUID.
RFC Destination
Specify the RFC destination to be used for determining the DDIC information of the tables to be added.
Table Name
Specify the table(s) to be added to the data model.
Standard Variants
Output
Activities
Execute the report to add tables to a data model. At maximum, there can be added 5.000 tables to a single data model. If you need to add more tables you have to distribute the tables across several data models.
