CNV_LTR2_ES_UTILS_WS_CHANGE - Mass Changes in Embedded Specification

Purpose

You use this report to change settings, such as selection settings, project management data, or settings for the migration (such as the reading type or the writing behavior) for multiple objects at a time. You can use this report with all objects that have a position GUID (also known as WSPOS), for example business objects or data models.

Caution: There is no easy way of undoing changes made by this report. It is therefore very important that you select the relevant objects carefully and think about possible consequences and side effects of the planned mass changes before implementing them. To be on the safe side, you can do a simulation of the planned changes and verify the results.

You have expert authorizations for object-based transformations.

Features

Selection

When you execute the report, a selection screen opens. Under Selection, you have various options for specifying the objects whose settings you want to change. In the following sections, you select the settings you want to change, and specify the new values (where necessary).

Standard Variants

Output

When the report has run, all changes you defined on the selection screen have been included in the embedded specification and are visible when you open the embedded specification.
