CNV_MBT_REORG_DELETE_PROJECT - Program CNV_MBT_REORG_DELETE_PROJECT

Purpose

Deletion of a complete project

All objects assigned to the project will be deleted. This includes subprojects, packages, PCL and DTL objects and entries, and destinations. Note: we only allow the deletion of tables they are in our namespace (prefix MBT). To run this program you need the required authorizations (project lead) and you have to be registered as lead to the project or you have the master role.

You can see the result of the deletion with transaction CNVMBTREORG. From the Reorganization overview you can get the job log (tab 'Job details' button 'Job detail') and the log of the deletion run (tab 'Deletion detail' button 'Show log').

Import parameters of the report

P_PROJ (Name of the Project)

Project name that have to be deleted with its assigned objects (subprojects, DTL objects, packages)

P_FDEACT (Forced the deactivation of active packages)

If this parameter is set then the program will deactivate active packages and delete them.

P_ASJOB (Deletion program run in a batch job)

If this parameter is set then the deletion will be executed in a batch job.

P_REDEST (RFC Destinations won´t be deleted)

If this parameter is set then we don´t delete the RFC Destinations from table RFCDES. The entries in package dependent tables will be deleted (version, history) anyway.

P_DELRUN (Shouldn´t be used from the user)

Is the field for a deletion run id. Will be used only in special cases.

Parameters in table cnvmbtparameters:

Waiting time - REORG_DEL_PROJECT_SECONDS

Default setting in report is 300 (5 minutes)

Can be changed externally from the program if you create an entry in table cnvmbtparams where packid is 'REORG' and pame is 'REORG_DEL_PROJECT_SECONDS'. The value has to be entered in the field low.

Number of loops - REORG_DEL_PROJECT_LOOPS

Default setting in report is 100.

Can be changed externally from the program if you create an entry in table cnvmbtparams where packid is 'REORG' and pame is 'REORG_DEL_PROJECT_LOOPS'. The value has to be entered in the field low. If you set the value to 0 then the report will be finished immediately.
