CNV_PE_CLEAN_UP_AREA_TRFMS - Clean up configuration of all assigned TRFMs

Purpose

This is an expert function.

Due to an adjustment or manual maintenance of a data model or worklist interfaces of a given area, some parameters (tables or fields) can be deleted from them. Customizing for the transfer option steps

assigned to the area can still contain the deleted parameters, such as:

• Sender parameters

• Move parameters

• Ingoing parameters for the transformation rules.

As a rule, this Customizing is not automatically adjusted and stays inconsistent. This program can be used to check for possible inconsistencies and clean them up.

Features

The program is executed for a single area and considers all assigned transfer option steps (including copy templates).

The check for inconsistencies uses direct database access and does not include unsaved changes (for example, those made in another session). On the contrary, the clean-up locks corresponding objects to ensure consistency across sessions.
