CNV_PE_CLEAN_UP_TRFM - Clean up TRFM configuration

Purpose

This is an expert function.

Due to the adjustment or manual maintenance of a transfer option step interface some parameters (tables, structures or fields) can be deleted. The Customizing for transfer option steps for deleted parameters (for example, field mappings) is not deleted automatically and stays inconsistent.

The main purpose of this program is to check whether any Customizing for invalid transfer option step parameters exists and to remove it (if the transfer option step configuration permits this). Additional check and clean-up options are available and can be chosen under Clean-Up Scope.

Features

The program is executed for a single transfer option step.

The check for invalid parameters uses direct database access and does not include unsaved changes (for example, those made in another session). On the contrary, the overall consistency check as well as the clean-up processes lock corresponding objects to make sure they are across all sessions.

Selection

Clean-up Scope:

• Invalid TRFM Parameters Only

Selecting this option means that the consistency of Customizing for valid (existing) transfer option step parameters is not checked.

• Invalid TRFM & DM Parameters

Selecting this option means that the program checks whether Customizing for valid transfer option step parameters contains a reference to an invalid data model or worklist parameter. For more information, see the documentation for the area expert program Clean Up Configuration of Assigned Transfer Option Steps.

• Whole TRFM Configuration

Selecting this option means that the overall consistency of the Customizing for the transfer option step is checked. This check (or adjustment) includes used transformation rules and parameter mappings.
