Purpose

An Ignoretransformation rule (IGN_TR) is a transformation rule that can be generated by the user to define whether an transfer option step is to be executed or ignored.

The naming convention of an Ignore transformation rule is '_PE_IGN_TRFM'.

If Call Ignore Rulecheckbox is selected, this transformation rule is executed when building the transfer list of a migration object instance.

In the source code of the Ignoretransformation rule, the user can define to ignore the current transfer option step by setting the signature parameter _EV_EXE_STEP_IGN to 'X'. In this case, the step of the current migration object instance is set to completed, despite of the fact, that the corresponding transfer option step was not called at all.

Even though the transfer option step is indeed not called (ignored), the user can specify a result (for example, document number) for the step execution. This can be achieved by filling the signature parameter _ES_RLPA_INFO accordingly.
