Purpose

You can use this program in the following situations:

• When marketing prospects are not found by a search because the field COMPANY_NAME_UC is empty

The field COMPANY_NAME_UC is used for a search by company name, and should contain the company name in upper case characters. It is not visible on the UI, and is filled automatically from the field COMPANY_NAME. In previous releases of SAP CRM, the field was sometimes not filled.

Run the program to fill the field COMPANY_NAME_UC from the field COMPANY_NAME.

• When marketing prospects appear twice in the search results list because the fields COMPANY_NAME and COMPANY_NAME_UC are filled

When marketing prospects are converted to business partners, data is deleted from the fields COMPANY_NAME and COMPANY_NAME_UC. The data in the Company Name field on the marketing prospect UI is derived from the business partner data. In previous releases of SAP CRM, the fields were not cleared.

Run the program to clear the marketing prospect fields COMPANY_NAME and COMPANY_NAME_UC.
