CRM_MKTTG_TG_DELETE - Deletion of Target Groups

Purpose

This program enables the deletion of multiple target groups.

Features

The program uses values of the selection parameters to search for target groups, and deletes them. All target groups that are found are listed. If a target group cannot be deleted, the system then outputs error messages. The program then tries to delete the next target group.

If there are many target groups, or if they are large, we recommend executing the program in a background job. In this case, the output messages can be found in the spool list of the background job.

If the program is executed in test mode, the target groups found are only listed, no target groups are deleted.

You can use an additional parameter to control whether the GUID is also displayed, as well as the description of the target group.

Selection

The values of the selection parameters are linked with AND, that is, the target groups to be deleted must have all values of the selection parameters in their attributes.

Note that the date selection parameters are used to find target groups that were created or changed BEFORE this date.

In addition, you can directly enter individual target groups. These target groups do NOT need to have all values of the selection parameters in their attributes.
