Purpose

You use this report to compare the explosion of a material, project or order BOM (bill of material) using the ABAP logic and the stored procedures in SAP HANA.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

The report compares the records fetched from ABAP and SAP HANA when a material, project or order BOM is exploded.

Each record that is fetched is compared based on the values in following fields:

  • MNGLG - Calculated Component Quantity in Base Unit of Measure
  • MNGKO - Calculated Component Quantity in Component Unit of Measure
  • UMREZ - Numerator for Conversion to Base Units of Measure
  • UMREN - Denominator for conversion to base units of measure
  • SOBSL - Special procurement type
  • REVLV - Revision Level
  • DUMPS - Phantom item indicator
  • XTLNR - BOM Number (Next Level)
  • XTLAN - BOM Usage (Next Level)
  • XTLAL - BOM Alternative (Next Level)

When there is a mismatch field, the field is marked in red in the output.

You can either view all the records or only the records with mismatched fields.

This report also gives the total number of records that are executed in ABAP and SAP HANA.

When there are missing records in ABAP or SAP HANA, these missing records are displayed separately at the bottom of the screen.

Selection

To run the report, you enter the following input:

  • Material name
  • Plant
  • BOM Application
  • Valid From
  • WBS Element
  • Sales Order
  • Sales Order Item
  • Required Quantity
  • Alternative BOM
  • Enter Level for Explosion
  • Option to view only mismatched records

Standard Variants

Output

The result is displayed in the ALV. The following information is displayed:

  • The total number of records executed from ABAP and SAP HANA.
  • All the records along with mismatch fields colored in red.
  • All the missing records from ABAP or SAP HANA.

If you choose to view only mismatched records, then only the records that have any mismatch fields are displayed.
