Purpose

You use this report to perform the following:

  • Select and display Start of Retention Time records (SoRT).
  • Select and display historical manually deleted Start of Retention Time records

Selection

  1. Select one of the following Processing Type:
  • Monitor SoRT data – Selects and displays SoRT records from the SORT Details of Business Partners for each Application (BUTSORT) table.

  • Display information of Deleted SoRT data- Selects and displays historical information about deleted SoRT records from the Changed SoRT Records with Reasons(BUTSORT_CD) table.

  1. Select the Customer Master Datatab or the Vendor Master Datatab, depending on the data that you want to display.
  • Customer Master Data – System selects the records related to customer master data or contact persons, or both.

  • Vendor Master Data – System selects the records related to vendor master data or contact persons, or both.

  1. Select the Contact Persons checkbox for the system to return the corresponding contact persons for each customer or vendor that you have selected. If you do not select this checkbox, then contact persons entered are not considered.
  2. Specify a number of records in the Maximum No. of Hits. If you do not specify a number, then the system selects all the corresponding records, which might result in a very long process. By default the system selects 500 records.

Standard Variants

Output

The system fetches the records from the corresponding tables and displays the following data output in an .ALV format:

  • Partner - Displays the select master data.
  • Application Name- Displays the corresponding SAP component, which helps you determine the SAP application component that is responsible for the record that you have selected.
  • PurpCStats – Indicates the purpose completed status. It can have the following statuses:
  • 1 – No Business exists

  • 2 – Ongoing Business

  • 3 – Business Completed

In case you have selected the processing type Monitor SoRTdata, then the system displays the following additional information:

  • Prev. SoRT Deleted – Indicates the deleted status of the SoRT with the same key. If the value is not 0, then it means that the SoRT has already been deleted, and select this field to display the historical records.
  • B/U – Indicates the blocked or unblocked status of the master data. If this field contains a key, then it means that the master data is blocked. If the master data is blocked, then you cannot delete the record.
  • Action – Indicates whether have selected the record for deletion or not. The trashcan icon in this field indicates that you have selected the record for deletion, and at save time the system deletes the record and a historical record will be created.

In case you have selected Display information of Deleted SoRTdata, then the system displays the details of the deleted records as well.

To access this report, on the SAP Easy Accessscreen choose Cross-Application Components-> Data Protection-> SoRT Monitor
