Purpose

Demonstration of Generic Program Generation and Associated Security Checks

Prerequisites

This program cannot be executed in production systems and can only be used by users with developer authorizations.

Features

Declarations are entered in a declaration part and an implementation is entered in an implementation part. The syntax of these entries can be tested and the specified program section can be executed.

Only a restricted group of ABAP statements are allowed in the implementation and no other units can be called (except for the output class).

Output can be created using the class CL_DEMO_OUTPUT.

Activities

If you manage to bypass the program's security checks without manipulating the program or process flow in the debugger, meaning that:

• You can use the program in a production system.

• You can generate and execute the source code despite not having developer authorization.

• You can implement potentially dangerous code.

Notify this immediately by sending a message to BC-ABA-LA.
