Purpose

The program demonstrates the access times for an internal table with and without a secondary key. A three-column internal table is searched for an entry which does not exist in the table. One read is done with the specification of a free key and one read is done with the specification of a sorted secondary key. With the free key, all table lines have to be searched while with the secondary key a binary search is performed.
