Purpose

This report is used to determine the commodity exposure of Logistics documents, and also integrates exposure processing for trading contracts in Global Trade Management.

The report selects trading contracts and Logistics document items based on specified selection parameters and determines the commodity raw exposures inherent in these documents. The determined raw exposures can be sent to Treasury for exposure management.

The report can be used for different purposes:

  • As an initial load report
  • As a correction measure to resolve inconsistencies between Logistics (document items) and Treasury (raw exposures)
  • As a means of re-determining the relevancy of a specific Logistics document

Note: After the inital load of exposures from Logistics to TRM, this report should be used only for reprocessing of faulty documents or to re-determine the relevancy of a specific document. For performance reasons, it should not be used for daily reprocessing of all Logistics documents.

Integration

Purchase order items (and the corresponding goods receipt items) are relevant for Logistics-Treasury commodity exposure integration if

  • Price Control is set to '5' (new pricing on goods receipt)

and

  • at least one pricing condition is assigned to a treasury commodity ID in table L2TC_CONDICOMM (standard implementation) and this pricing condition has not been set to inactive.

Alternative relevancy conditions may be implemented in the ITEM_RELVANCE_DETERMINATION BAdI.

Prerequisites

The LOG_TRM_INT business function is activated.

Processing of trading contract-related exposures requires activation of business functions LOG_TRM_INT_2 and ISR_GLT_CMMINTEG.

Features

Selection

You can use the Process Trading Contract Selection options to activate or deactivate the settings in the section for trading contracts.

You can use the Process Purchasing Selection and Process Sales Selection options to activate or deactivate the settings in the relevant sections.

Standard Variants

Output

The Report Mode settings determine how the report is processed and what kind of output it generates.

  • Send Raw Exposure
This report mode sends a complete list of all Logistics documents that qualify as relevant (or non-relevant). It can be used as an initial feed report after the Logistics-Treasury Integration business function is activated.
  • (Re)Determine Relevancy and Send Raw Exposure
This report mode sends a list of Logistics documents whose relevancy has changed (from relevant to non-relevant, or vice versa). It is also possible to include all currently relevant documents in the list in addition to all documents with changed relevancy. This mode is used for correction and resynchronization between Logistics (document items) and Treasury (raw exposures).
  • Send Complete Document View
This report mode sends the complete raw exposure data for a specified Purchasing or Sales document.

Note

Processing of trading contracts is controlled by the Report Mode for Trading Contracts settings. For a detailed explanation ot the various settings, please refer to the documentation of the Processing Mode for Trading Contract Raw Exposures data element. Solely the simulation and display parameters are considered from the Report Mode settings.

The Simulation / Display Options determine how the report is executed. When executed as a simulation run, the report determines the relevant data according to the selected report mode and displays the results on screen without automatically sending the determined raw exposures to Treasury. To enable the posting of raw exposures to Treasury, you need to deactivate the simulation option. In this case you can specify whether you want to have the results displayed on screen (after they are posted).

On the exposure display screen in simulation mode, you can choose Post to post selected exposures to Treasury.
