Purpose

You can use this report to generate the runtime object for a migration object. That is, the programs required to read data from the staging tables and to transfer data to SAP S/4HANA. Note that the corresponding function in the Migrate Your data Fiori app is called "Prepare Staging Tables".

Note that this report is only valid for migration objects that use the migration approach "Migrate Data from Staging Tables". In addition, it is not possible use this report for migration objects that are used in projects that were created using transaction LTMC.

Note that when you generate the runtime object, the system automatically adjusts the structures of the migration object. The system compares the structures of a migration object with the same structures in the ABAP Dictionary. If a structure does not correspond to the structure in the ABAP Dictionary, then the system adjusts the structure to reflect the structure in the ABAP Dictionary.

To generate the runtime object, specify the migration object ID in the Migration Object ID field and choose Execute.

The system displays a dialog box that contains the relevant logs. If the runtime object was generated successfully, you can view the corresponding success messages. You can also view any warning messages, for example if a source structure is not mapped to a target structure. If the runtime object could not be generated, you can view the corresponding error messages.
