DMC_MT_DEFINITION - MWB: Tool for Defining All Conversion Objects of a Mass Processing

Purpose

This is the definition phase of the mass processing. In this phase, a simple ("flat") migration object is created for each table in the source system. The name of the migration object is derived from the table name. Deviating target table names in field TARGET_TAB of table DMC_MT_TABLES are considered.

This tool can be parallelized, that is, it can run more than once at a given time in the background, which helps to increase data throughput.

Selection

Specify the mass transfer for which migration objects are to be created.

You can restrict the processing to certain tables.

By default, an analysis of the selectivity of the index fields (primary, and also potentially secondary indexes) is done to determine the best selection field in case of reading type 1 (range calculation). This might take some time. If this analysis is not desired, it can be deactivated.
