DMC_NOTE_ANALYZER - Analyze SAP Notes

Purpose

This report is only relevant for certain SAP products and scenarios.

You can use this report to check whether all necessary SAP Notes are installed. To do this, the system identifies the latest version of the central SAP Note for the relevant product and identifies the latest versions of all the relevant SAP Notes that need to be installed. You can then use the report to install the required SAP Notes.

In the initial screen of the report, in the Central SAP Note field, the system displays the latest version of the central SAP Note for the relevant product. If the system cannot determine the relevant SAP Note number, you can specify the SAP Note number manually.

After you choose Execute, the system lists the SAP Notes that need to be installed. To install an SAP Note, click the relevant row. The report opens transaction SNOTE, where you can install the SAP Note.

It is also possible to check a remote system by choosing an RFC destination in the selection screen. Note that the function module DMC_NOTE_ANALYZER_CHECK_NOTES must be available in the remote system. In addition, it is not possible to access transaction SNOTE and install the notes in the remote system.
