Purpose

In this step, you can download a CSV (comma separated values) file that contains the load statistics for a specific table.

The load statistics contain information about the initial load for a table, not about the replication.

You can use the load statistics to get an overview about the progress of the transfer for a table.

You can view the following information:

Field Description
Table Name The name of the table.
No. of Portions The number of portions for a table.
No. of Portions In Process The number of portions for which the initial load is in process.
No. of Finished Portions The number of portions for which the initial load is finished.
No. of Portions with Errors The number of portions for which an error occurred.
Total Calc. Records The number of rows in the source table when the system completed the access plan calculation. Note that for read mode 3 (primary key order) and for single processing mode, this figure increases during the initial load with every new portion.
Records Read The number records read from the source system table.
Start Time The time at which the initial load was started.
End Time The time at which the current last portion finished.

Prerequisites

Selection

To download the load statistics, specify a mass transfer ID and the relevant table name. You can then choose the Execute pushbutton, and specify a suitable location for the file.

If you use transaction LTRC to run this report, then the system automatically uses the relevant mass transfer ID (this value cannot be changed). If you run this report outside of transaction LTRC (for example by using transaction SE38), then you must specify a mass transfer ID.

Note that you can open the CSV file using Microsoft Excel. Note that the CSV file delimiter is a semicolon. This means you must specify this delimiter in Microsoft Excel in order to separate the data into columns. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the file using Microsoft Excel.
  2. Select the first column.
  3. Under Data, choose Text to Columns, and specify Semicolon as the delimiter.
