DMC_SPLIT_PREC_ACPLANS - Split all Access Plans pertaining to a Precalculation

Purpose

Report DMC_SPLIT_PREC_ACPLANS processes all data portions of all access plans pertaining to the specified conversion object and precalculation, assigning them to newly created access plans of a collective access plan, according to the desired number of portions that should be part of the access plan.

The access plan type of the conversion object is changed from "precalculation" to "collective access plan".

Integration

Prerequisites

The access plans of the precalculation must have been calculated before this report can be used. The report only works for objects with cluster reading types. For customary access plans, it can't be used, because static delimitations are not copied from the access plans of the precalculation to the access plans of the collective access plan.

Selection

You need to specify mass transfer, precalculation ID (must be identical to the access plan ID of the package) and the number of data portions that should become part of each of the single access plans that will become part of the newly created collective access plan.

If not further restricted, all conversion objects of that mass transfer which have access plan type "Precalculation" will be processed. You can, however, further restrict the objects to be processed, if you specify the conversion object names.

You might need to copy static delimitations of the original access plans to the new access plans of the collective access plan. If you activate the corresponding checkbox, each precalculation access plan is split individually, rather than splitting the complete set of all portions of all access plans.
This is not relevant if the default restriction to cluster table reading types is kept. For those reading types, static delimitations are not relevant.
