Purpose

For the correct function of the MWB it is necessary that the structure and field information stored for the conversion objects, as well as the DDIC types which are generated in the MWB system as a mirror of the DDIC tables and structures in the sender and receiver system, really reflect exactly the real DDIC data of the sender and receiver system. To make this sure, this report can be used to check

  • if the activation time stamp stored for the structures in the MWB is still the same as in the remote systems
  • the field information for each field is the same in the MWB conversion objects as in the remote systems

It is also possible to combine both checks.

Integration

The check is done by means of implementations of interface IF_DMC_VALIDATE. Refer to the documentation of this interface for further information.

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

The check can be executed

  • for a single conversion object, or a small number of objects belonging to the same subproject
  • for a mass transfer, or a subset of its conversion objects
  • for all conversion objects assigned to the same subproject

The corresponding objects (organizational entities of the MWB) need to be specified accordingly.

Standard Variants

Output

No list output; all differences that might have been found are listed in an application log which is shown as popup if the report is run in dialog mode. Otherwise it can be viewed by means of transaction SLG1.
