Purpose

You use this report to adapt generated IRF data models stored in your system to the newly developed IRF modeling behavior. This new behavior introduces boundaries between the data models of different ILM objects, i.e. there now is a clear assignment of tables and their relationships to specific ILM objects.

This affects, for example, the data collection process. Data is now no longer automatically retrieved across several data models, but is collected per model.

Integration

Prerequisites

This report is used as part of the data modeling process required for the Information Retrieval Framework (IRF). To get a comprehensive overview of how to set up your system to work with the IRF, refer to the NetWeaver application help for the Information Retrieval Framework (IRF) on the SAP Help Portal.

Features

Selection

On the entry screen, you have to options to specify which data models you want to adapt to the new behavior:

  • ILM Object
Specify one or more ILM objects whose data models you want to adapt to the new IRF behavior.
  • All Models
Select this checkbox to have all data models stored in your system adapted to the new IRF behavior.

Standard Variants

Output

Activities

For data collection across models, it is possible to change this new behavior by maintaining parameter DISPLAY_ACROSS_ILM. For more information, see the documentation of Customizing activity Define Parameters.

For this report, application logs are written. To get more detailed information about a data collection run, go to transaction SLG1 and use the following values to call up the application logs:

  • Object: DTINF
  • Subobject: DTINF_ADAPT
