Purpose

You use this report to copy model data from SAP tables to your system. SAP provides reference data models for certain applications. You can copy these models into your system and use them as the basis for your data modeling process.

Note: SAP does not guarantee completeness or accuracy of the provided data models. Always make sure that all tables relevant for you are included, and superfluous tables are removed from the model.

Integration

Prerequisites

Make sure the following prerequisites are met before starting the import process:

  • It is recommended to make a backup copy of any model data that might exist in customer tables before starting the import process. For this, you can use the Download/ Upload IRF Data Models report.
  • Clear all existing data models from customer tables, otherwise the import process will fail. For more information on how to delete model content from customer tables, refer to the documentation of the Clear Customer Models report.
  • You need a valid correction request to save your changes.
  • Ensure that no open transport requests exist that contain IRF related objects.

Features

  • When calling the transaction, the system will prompt you to confirm the start of the import process. If above mentioned prerequisites are met, click Yes to proceed.
Note: All data models delivered by SAP will be imported into your system. To get an overview of the applications delivering reference models, see SAP Note 2682296.
  • Enter a correction request.
  • The system validates your correction request. If the request is valid, the import process starts and model data is copied to your system.
