DTL_COMPARE_REMOTE_DDIC - MWB: compare DDIC data for tables in MWB and remote systems

Purpose

This report can be executed for a subproject, mass transfer or any range of conversion objects. It checks for differences between the DDIC info of the sender and receiver tables of the conversion object, as stored in the structures of the conversion object, and the real DDIC data of the corresponding tables in the receiver and sender system.

If differences are found, these are listed in the application log. In addition, if the parameter "delete if difference" is set to true, the entry of the respective conversion object in table DMC_MT_TABLES is changed: The flags for "defined", "generated" and "calculated" are reset to false, and the conversion object is deleted.

Integration

The report can be scheduled from the DTL API DTL_MT_COMPARE_DDIC_TIMESTAMP. In this case the non-display input parameter P_SESSID will be supplied, and the report will also maintain an activity record to facilitate a status return to PCL.
