Title

Purpose

This report allows the creation of a cluster table (DMC_INDXCL) in the sender system of a data transfer. This table is required if the data to be transferred are to be stored first in this cluster table of the sender system, before they are transferred.
The report offers three options:

1. create the table automatically in the table space with the maximum of free space
2. create the table in the table space determined by the user
3. delete the table

All these options are only possible if the cluster table does not yet contain any data.

The report also invokes another report CNVMBTDTL_CLUSTER_DELETE that deletes the data of the current mass transfer. This is done before the activities for the cluster table creation or deletion are started. This increases the probability that the cluster table is empty.

A table space selection is only relevant for the database systems Oracle, Informix and DB6.

The table space reassignment is only done if there aren't yet appropriate storage parameters (especially: NEXT EXTENT size) set for this table.
