ECPAO_TO_EC_INVT_DELETE - Delete Inventory Entries

Purpose
This program enables you to delete the inventory details of an employee from the inventory tables based on a purge date. You can use the ECPAO_TO_EC_INVT_DEL transaction code to run this report.
Integration
Prerequisites
You have already deleted the SLG logs using the SBAL_DELETE report.
Note
- This step is not mandatory. If you want to comply towards data protection, you can then delete the SLG logs along with deleting the inventory details from the inventory tables.
- You need to select the following parameters in the selection screen of SBAL_DELETE report to delete all the log file information.
- Object: ECPAO
- Subobject: ECPAO, ECPAO_KEYVALUE, ECPAO_MANAGER, ECPAO_METADATA
- From date: 18000101 (All logs since the beginning date till the to date would be deleted)
- To date: Purge Date

Selection
- Choose the EC Instance for which you want to purge the data.
- Choose the Purge Date. Based on the purge date, the records will be deleted from the ECPAO_INVT, ECPAO_INVT_MSG and ECPAO_EE_INVT tables. Data which are before the purge date would be deleted from the inventory tables.

Example
Purge date calculation
- Compensation data needs to be purged after 3 years (01.01.2015 -01.01.2017)
- Address data needs to be purged after 6 years (01.01.2012 -01.01.2017)
- Payment information details needs to be purged after 5 years (01.01.2013-01.01.2017)
Here you need to set the earliest transfer date as 01.01.2015 which is the "newest" purge date.
