EDOC_CL_EMAIL_UPLOAD - eDocument Chile: Upload Business Partner Details

Purpose

You use this app to upload details from your business partners (customers or suppliers) to the system.

The tax authorities in Chile provide details of the companies with a .CSV file containing data related to their business partners, such as tax ID, name of the company and e-mail address. You can use this app to update this data in the business partner master data table.

Prerequisites

A logical file path and a logical file name exist for each file you want to upload from the presentation server.

Note:

The size of the file that you upload cannot be larger than the maximum file size limit. By default, this file size limit is 40 MB unless another limit is configured in the Maintain General Parameters for eDocumentconfiguration step. Ensure that the file to be uploaded does not exceed this file size limit.

Activities

1. Select the files from the file system in the presentation server.
2. Run the app. The system displays the success message that details have been updated.

Example

You use this app, for example, if you want to update the e-mail address in the master data of your business partner.
