EDOC_INBOUND_UPLOAD_REPORT - Upload Tool for Incoming Messages

Purpose
You use this report to upload incoming messages in form of XML files from your file system to the application server.
Integration
Prerequisites
A logical file path and a logical file name exist for each message type you want to upload messages to. You have to specify the physical file path on the application server for a logical file path to which the messages are uploaded to.
You do this using the FILEtransaction. Note that the file name follows the following naming convention:
EDOC_XX_YWXZ_PATH and
EDOC_XX_YWXZ_FILE,
where:
- EDOC - File name should always start with EDOC
- XX - 2 letter ISO country code
- YWXZ - Name of the message type; It may be longer than four characters.
- PATH - Path name always ends with PATH
- FILE - File name always ends with FILE
Please note that the filename must be unique. The program does not accept the same filename twice.
Features
Selection
- Select the message type you want to upload files for.
- Choose if you want to select an individual file from the folder or all files from the folder.
- Browse the file or folder to upload.
- Run the report.
Standard Variants
Output
The report uploads the files to the logical path specified in the FILEtransaction.
