Purpose

You use this report to transfer selected dimensions and units of measurement from SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (SAP EHS) to SAP Environmental Compliance (SAP EC) and match up the data transferred with the data available in SAP EC.

The following applies:

  • Existing dimensions and units in SAP EC are overwritten with the data from SAP EHS. The dimensions and units that do not yet exist are created.
  • Only those dimensions and units of measurement selected in SAP EHS are transferred to SAP EC and matched up.
  • If you specify the dimension and unit of measurement as selection criteria, the dimension and unit of measurement are transferred to and matched up with the data that exists in SAP EC.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have made the necessary settings in SAP EC, as described in the Implementation Guide for SAP Environmental Compliance at help.sap.com.

Authorization Check in Environment, Health, and Safety

Authorization object S_PROGRAM is checked when the report is executed. For authorization object S _PROGRAM, specify the value ENHE_ADM in the P_GROUP field (authorization group ABAP/4 program) and the value SUBMIT in the P_ACTION field (user action ABAP/4 program).

Features

Selection

  • RFC destination:standard name of an RFC destination. The RFC destination is used for communication between the SAP ERP system and SAP EC.
  • Internal unit of measurement: The selected units of measurement are transferred to SAP EC. Existing units of measurement in SAP EC are updated; units of measurement that do not yet exist are created.
  • Dimension:The selected dimensions are transferred to SAP EC. Existing dimensions in SAP EC are updated; dimensions that do not yet exist are created.
  • Language key: Language in which the data is read. The texts for the units of measurement and dimensions are transferred to SAP EC in the selected language and updated.
  • Test mode: The data matchup is simulated. The data is not saved in this case.

Standard Variants

Output

The results list contains the following information:

  • Parameters: Output of messages, sorted by parameter
  • Dimension:Number of determined dimensions that were transferred to SAP EC; display of messages from SAP EC

  • Unit of measurement:Number of determined units of measurement that were transferred to SAP EC; display of messages from SAP EC

  • Message status: Status of the message issued
  • Message for transmission

The result list displays all activities, changes, and any errors that occurred when the data was transferred to SAP EC.
