ERP_MKTTG_XPRA_618 - Conversion of Marketing Target Group Tables

Purpose

This XPRA (program) is required for customers who are upgrading to SAP S/4HANA ON-PREMISE 1511 SP02, or a higher SP or release.

As of SAP enhancement package 8 (SP02) for SAP ERP 6.0, SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP CRM 7.0 can be installed as an add-on to SAP ERP (SAP CRM add-on for SAP ERP). Consequently, some data dictionary objects that exist in ERP with the same name as in CRM but a different structure need to be renamed. This program renames the following tables related to marketing target groups:

Because a SAP ERP system can be upgraded to a SAP S/4HANA ON PREMISE, the tables needed to be renamed also there in the same way.

The program is automatically executed in the system client 000 during the first upgrade to SAP S/4HANA ON-PREMISE 1511 SP02, or a higher SP or release. Note that the program is executed only once.

As a result, the tables are renamed in all clients. The program also copies custom structure appends and custom indices that exist for these tables. The data content of the table is preserved.

If your system contains enhancements or modifications to the SAP standard (such as custom reports and views) that use one of the above-mentioned tables, you need to perform post-processing steps after the upgrade. Custom reports that use one of these tables contain syntax errors and need to be adjusted. Any references to the former table names need to be replaced by the new table names, wherever the old names occur in the enhancements or modifications.
