FAGL_COFI_TRACE_ADMIN - Trace Management for Online Update CO->FI

Purpose

With this transaction you can activate, display, deactivate, and delete the trace of real-time integration.

The activation or deactivation of the trace only applies to the user name with which you are currently logged on in the system.

Note:
If you set the Trace Active indicator in Customizing for real-time integration, this setting applies to all users. Under some conditions, this will log a large amount of data in the trace, which may be undesirable.

You can therefore use this transaction to activate the trace for a single user. This activation is independent of the setting in Customizing. Restriction: If the above indicator is set in Customizing, it is not possible to deactivate the trace with this transaction.

Activities

1. Call up two SAP sessions. Start trace administration in one session, and make the desired posting in the other session.
2. In trace administration, choose Activate Trace.
3. Post the CO document in the other session, or transfer the CO document to financial accounting.
4. In trace administration, choose Deactivate Trace.
5. In trace administration, choose Display Current Trace.

Using the displayed trace data, you can analyze the transfer of the CO line item to financial accounting.
